Name:Agent Daniel Sousa
Location:New York, New York, United States
Daniel Sousa is a junior agent in the Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR) which he joined after being honorably discharged from the US Army after he received wounds in an unnamed battle which cost him his leg. He was outfitted with a prosthetic limb courtesy of the US Army but despite proving himself to be a capable agent over and over again, a lot of his co-workers find themselves incapable of looking past the 'crippled' leg. Sousa however does not let it slow him down and with the aid of a crutch, is capable of performing most any task his fellow SSR agents.

He takes the often teasing and sometimes even cruel jabbing from his co-workers with good grace for the most part and perhaps because of his own battle with trying to earn respect in the SSR, Sousa is one of the few people willing to go to bat for Peggy Carter. Daniel is one of the few agents in the SSR who treats Agent Carter with respect and because of that, they seem to have a rather warm and congenial working relationship.

Daniel has proven himself to be a remarkably keen and observant agent time and time again inside the SSR and is the only person to make any serious headway in the hunt for the unknown and mysterious blonde woman linked to the Howard Stark investigation. Unbeknown to Sousa or the rest of the SSR however, the mystery woman is none other than Peggy Carter in disguise and as the series continues on, it is Sousa who comes closer to unraveling Peggy's identity and inadvertently endangering her work at trying to clear Howard Stark's name.

Please note: Expect period-correct mentions of rather abelist terms because let's face it, the 1940's weren't exactly politically correct. Mundane does not share the same views as the character of course but in the name of trying to keep period-accurate, there will be occasional mentions of certain abelist words. If this offends, please let me know and I will attempt to curtail such usage.
